Description [0001] The present invention falls within the field of home connection technology; It relates to an electrical installation device according to the preamble of claim 1.
Background Art Home appliance installation equipment is widely known, distinguishing between two embodiments, namely, the surface-mounted installation equipment and the flush-mounted installation equipment. A further subdivision of installation devices of this kind can be carried out by talking about single installation devices on the one side or combinations of several side-by-side installation devices on the other side. The present invention focuses on combinations of at least two juxtaposed installation devices, one of which is a mains voltage leading installation device, such as a light switch or a power outlet, and the other installation device is a signal socket, for example for the connection of a television, radio or a network apparatus. Both the surface-mounted installation devices and the flush-mounted installation devices are included. Such conventional combinations of installation devices are disclosed by DE 3 129 061 C2 and CH 6 95128 A5.
By way of example, a belonging to the prior art combination of a power outlet as mains voltage leading installation device and a TV box as a signal socket with reference to FIG. 1 to Fig. 5 is considered in more detail below. This introduction to the prior art was chosen to provide the simplest possible access to the problem underlying the present invention.
Thus, Fig. 1 shows a combination 4 of two installation devices 1, 3, which are installed side by side and within a common cover frame 5, namely a power outlet 3 and a signal socket 1, wherein the last is closed with a cover plate 7. By way of example, the signal socket 1 has two connection sockets 2a, 2b, which are typically arranged at a standardized distance from one another, these connection sockets 2a, 2b lying on a horizontal plane in the center of the cover plate 7. Of course, arrangements are also known in which the connection sockets 2a, 2b can be arranged out of the center of the cover plate 7, wherein their distance from one another remains unchanged.
In Fig. 2, the combination 4 of the installation devices 1.3 is shown in a front view without the cover plate 7 and without the cover frame 5. The power socket 3 has a number of leads 11 and the signal socket in the present example, two coaxial cable 12. Here is a major advantage of such a combination 4 of installation devices 1.3; the power socket 3 and the signal socket 1 share a common mounting plate 6, so both installation devices can be installed closer to each other, both for a surface-mounted version as for a flush-mounted version. The mounting plate 6 typically has four tabs 9, to which the installation devices 1, 3 are screwed by means of screws 10. To the connection socket 2b is drawn a circle b, which is shown enlarged in Fig. 3. In this enlarged view of the circle b, the distance between the connection socket 2b and the tab 9 of the mounting plate 6 is emphasized, which is about 1mm in size with proper installation of the signal socket 1 on the mounting plate 6. Examples from practice have shown that often the assembly is made with electrically driven screwdrivers, the screws 10 by uncontrolled over-tightening, the tabs 9 can spread; this reduces the distance between the mounting plate 6 and the connection socket 2b.
4, the combination 4 of installation devices 1, 3 is shown in a perspective rear view. Again, the compact arrangement of the signal socket 1 in addition to the power outlet 3 on the common mounting plate 6 becomes clear. The signal socket 1 is connected to two coaxial cables 12 and the power socket 3 with three connecting wires 11. In this case, the signal socket 1 includes a TV socket not shown here in the interior of a Isoliertopfes 13, which is closed with a Isoliertopfdeckel 14. This Isoliertopf 13 with the Isoliertopfdeckel 14 are used here, since the TV box is completely encapsulated in view of the passed, frequency-sensitive signals in a metallic housing and improper mounting of the leads 11 through the described metallic housing, the connection jacks 2a, 2b below Voltage - for example, 230 V - can be set when a lead wire 11 comes into contact with the TV socket.
Fig. 5 now shows another possible assembly error in a similar perspective view as in Figure 4, in which mounting error, the sockets 2a, 2b can also be put under tension; namely, when a live lead wire 11 contacts the mounting plate 6, which is usually also made of metal and if at the same time the distance between the sockets 2a, 2b and the tabs 9 for attachment to the mounting plate 6 is too small and crosstalk from the then live mounting plate 6 can take place over the tabs 9 on the connection sockets 2a, 2b.
Electrical installation devices are fundamentally safe for people to be protected against electrical shock; On the other hand, the problem remains that even the mounting plate 6 could be put under improper mounting under tension and - as explained - then also the connection sockets 2a, 2b, which is an inadmissible hazard potential would represent.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to further develop an electrical installation device, which is designed as a signal socket with a number of connection sockets, so that the number of connection sockets remains free of voltage contact even in the case of a mounting error in addition to a mains voltage leading installation device.
The problem underlying the invention for the electrical installation device is achieved by the features of claim 1; the features of this invention further developing features are each subject of the dependent claims 2 to 7.
The essence of the invention is the fact that, in a combination of electrical installation equipment, which are arranged on a common mounting plate side by side, wherein an inventive electrical installation device is designed as a signal socket and the other installation device is netzspannungsführend, a number of connection sockets the signal socket relative to the mounting plate have insulation.
Advantageous in this embodiment of the inventive, electrical installation device with the provided with insulation sockets is the security against a possible voltage contact even with a faulty mounting of mains voltage lead wires of adjacent installation equipment. If, for example, a voltage-carrying connection wire of a mains socket forms a contact with the common fastening plate as a result of a connection error, the connection sockets always remain free of voltage.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the insulation of the connection sockets are arranged on a Isoliertopf surrounding the electrical installation device; These insulations may be formed as insulating segments between the mounting plate and the connection sockets or enclose the sockets as insulating sleeves.
In a further embodiment according to the invention, it is provided that the insulations of the connection sockets are arranged on a cover plate which directly belongs to the electrical installation device; These insulations - in the assembled state of the cover plate on the installation device - may be formed as Isoliersegmente between the mounting plate and the connection sockets or enclose as insulating the connection sockets. It is particularly advantageous in this embodiment that existing combinations of installation devices can be retrofitted with the invention by only the belonging to the electrical installation device cover plate is replaced with the arranged on her insulating sleeves or insulating segments.
A further embodiment of the invention provides that the connection sockets of the electrical installation device are provided with attachable insulating sleeves. This embodiment also offers the advantage of a retrofittability of existing combinations of installation devices with the insulating installation belonging to the electrical installation; while the plug-in insulating sleeves can also be connected to each other by means of a web. Furthermore, these insulating sleeves - loose or connected by a web - on the side facing away from the installation device have spring vanes, which force-fit into an operative connection with a belonging to the electrical installation device cover plate.

FIG. 1 shows a combination 4 of electrical installation devices 1, 3 for a domestic connection according to the prior art. In the present case, a mains voltage leading mains socket 3 and a signal socket 1 are shown side by side, which are surrounded by a common cover frame 5. The signal socket 1 has -here by way of example two-socket 2 a, 2 b, which are provided for the connection of coaxial plugs, not shown here; Furthermore, the signal socket is closed with a cover plate 7. 2 shows this conventional combination 4 of installation devices 1, 3 in a front view without cover 5 and without cover 7. The power socket 3 and the signal socket are bolted to a common, metallic mounting plate 6 by means of screws 10 on tabs 9. At the power socket 3 live leads 11 are connected and at the signal socket 1 coaxial cable 12. These coaxial cable 12 are connected in the signal socket 1 with associated connection sockets 2a, 2b. In Fig. 2, a section b denotes a section which is shown enlarged in Fig. 3. Fig. 3 illustrates the distance between the tab 9 and the connection socket 2b. Inappropriate mounting of the signal socket 1 to the mounting plate 6, it may happen that the tab 9 is spread by over-tightening the screw 10 and that thereby reduces the distance between the tab 9 and the connection socket 2b.
Fig. 4 shows the known combination 4 of electrical installation equipment 1.3 in a perspective rear view; In this illustration, the live leads 11 are properly connected to the power outlet 3. Here is also visible that the signal socket 1 has a Isoliertopf 13, which is fired by means of a Isoliertopfdeckels 14. Not shown here is the content of the signal socket 1, which consists for example of a metallic TV box body; This metallic TV can body is used to shield the frequency-prone signals that are fed through the typically shielded coaxial cable 12. The insulating pot 13 protects the contents of the signal socket 1 from erroneous contact with one of the lead wires 11; should a lead wire 11 set the contents of the signal socket 1 - namely the metallic TV-can body - under tension, the risk for a contact with the then live connection sockets 2a, 2b would exist.
In Fig. 5, the same rear view of the combination 4 of electrical installation equipment 1.3 is shown, with another, possible source of error could also lead to a voltage application of the connection sockets 1, 3. Shown is an incorrectly connected to the power outlet 1 connection wire 11, which has a physical contact with the metal mounting plate 6. In view of the small distance between the tab 9 of the mounting plate 6 and the socket 2b in Fig. 3 or a possible contact between the tab 9 and the connecting socket 2b, a faulty mounting of the connecting wire 11 in contact with the mounting plate 6 would cause the connection sockets 2a, 2b are also put under tension; since this is the mains voltage, for example 230 V in Europe, this can be fatal in the case of a human touch.
An electrical installation device 1 according to the present invention is able to remedy this situation; in Fig. 6a is designed as a signal socket 1, electrical installation device 1 is provided with an insulating segment 8b between the connecting sockets 2a, 2b and the tabs 9 of the mounting plate 6, said insulating segments 8b are arranged directly on the Isoliertopf 13. Even if the screws 10 were then tightened too much, for example, with an electric screwdriver, and the tabs 9 would be spread thereby, the tabs 9 could no longer come in a critical proximity to the connection sockets 2a, 2b, so that no crosstalk between the faulty live mounting plate 6, see Fig. 5, between the tabs 9 and the connection sockets 2a, 2b could take place.
Fig. 6b shows the present embodiment of the invention according to Fig. 6a in an enlarged view of the circle B to the socket 2b. It can be clearly seen that the insulating segment 8b ensures a sufficiently large distance between the tab 9 and the connection socket 2b, so that a crosstalk between the two is impossible.
Fig. 7a shows a further embodiment of the inventive signal socket 1, wherein in the present case in each case an insulating sleeve 8a and the connection sockets 2a, 2b comes into use; these insulating sleeves 8a serve the same purpose as the insulating segments 8b in Fig. 6a and are also directly connected to the Isoliertopf An enlargement of the circle B in Fig. 7a underlines in Fig. 7b the annular arrangement of the insulating sleeves 8b on the Isoliertopf 13, whereby the connection socket 2b is surrounded.
A further embodiment of the inventive signal socket 1 is shown in Fig. 8a; Fig. 1, which is provided on its inside with Isoliersegmenten 8b such that after mounting the cover plate 7 at the signal socket 1, these insulating segments 8b between the tabs 9 and the connection sockets 2a. Connected directly to the signal socket 1 is an associated cover plate , 2b are arranged, whereby the invention essential distance between the two is provided. FIG. 8b shows in a front view of the combination 4 a section line A-A, which in a sectional view along this section line in FIG. 8c designates a section B; FIG. this detail B is shown enlarged in FIG. 8d; Here it can be seen that the arranged on the cover plate 7 insulating segment 8b provides the safe distance between the tab 9 and the connection socket 2b. Refining this concept of the invention, the cover plate 7 is provided on its inside with insulating sleeves 8a in Fig. 9a, as the insulating segments 8b in Fig. 8a in the mounting position of the cover 7, the safe distance between the tabs 9 and the connection sockets 2a, 2b provides. FIG. 9b again shows a front view of the combination 4 with a section line A-A, which in a sectional view along this section line in FIG. 9c designates a section B; this cutout B is shown enlarged in FIG. 9d, wherein it can be seen that the insulating sleeve 8a arranged on the cover plate 7 provides the secure spacing between the tab 9 and the connection socket 2b.
Fig. 10a shows in an exploded view two connected via a web 15 insulating sleeves 8a, which are attachable to the connection sockets 2a, 2b and thus provide the voltage-proof insulation distance between the tabs 9 and the connection sockets 2a, 2b. The present insulating sleeves 8a have on the inside of the cover plate side facing spring lugs 16. 10b shows this embodiment of the inventive installation device 1 in a perspective view from the front with the plugged insulating sleeves 8a. FIG. 10c merely shows again a section line A-A, which in a sectional illustration along this section line A-A in FIG. 10d designates a section B, which is shown enlarged in FIG. 10e. There, the insulating sleeve 8a surrounding the connector 2b protective against the tab 9 and is connected via the web 15 with the further insulating sleeve 8a in the side view thereof; In the assembled position of the cover plate 7 shown here, it can be seen how the spring lugs 16 engage in frictional engagement with the inside of the cover plate 7 in order to fix the insulating sleeves 8a at the installation site. A similar embodiment is shown in the exploded view in FIG Fig. 11 a, wherein the insulating sleeves 8 a used here are plugged or pushed separately onto the connection sockets; It is provided that these insulating sleeves 8a - pushed onto the connection sockets 2a, 2b and thereby fixed - similar to a press fit. In analogy to the previous embodiment, Fig. 11b shows the combination 4 in a front view with a section line A-A, to which a corresponding sectional view in Fig. 11c is to be found; this in turn has a section B, which is shown enlarged in Fig. 11 d.
